Fremont's Second Act
Tesla's long-term target for the Fremont Optimus facility is 1 million units per year — roughly 20 times the combined peak production rate of the Model S and Model X at that factory. A second-generation Optimus factory is simultaneously under construction at Gigafactory Texas, targeting an eventual capacity of 10 million robots annually.
